Supposedly it has to do with having a 'career' rather than a 'job', mortgages, financial stability, and 'settling down'. Don't think I much like the sound of growing up myself.

The problem with growing up is that after that the next step is to get middle-aged, then before you know it you're old.

Ah but being old allows you to disreputable and, if your a bloke, lecherous. I can definately see the advantages You can also drink more, as you no longer have to worry about ruining your health, it having long gone.

Hmm... I've often wondered what the youthful equivalent of a 'dirty old man' is?

I'm contemplating hiring myself out as a hugging post, it was that succesful. Its a low maintenance job, no heavy lifting is required and, if I'm clever, I can fall asleep on the job without being noticed. Would probably need some sort of rod affair up my back if I was going to go that far though.

Ooh... well if it works out, let me know. It's sounds the perfect kind of post for me.

Mind you... I guess it means being on call and available at all hours. Still... the rewards are high...
