Closing Doors

Post 1

Richard

I find that one of the most important things in life is to close doors. Stable doors, house doors, bedroom doors of course, but most of all the doors in your brain. Doors to things you must do that remain open until the job is done.

Hello there,
Interesting analogy Richard. I often wonder why we couldn't have had a selective shut down system in our memory. Its so vital to survival. The moments we live in are discrete bits of existence, and yet in memory they all somehow cumulate to give you pain, joy, hurt or happiness colored by perception.
A rather novel analogy it was about the doors. I don't think I'll forget that.

Just read your entry,
It reminds me of a book I read called "Doors of the mind" By Micheal Bentine.
Facinatingsmiley - cheers. If you haven't read it may I recomend it.
