.. and I don't care. It had to be done. I couldn't resist. And besides, someone will buy it off me when I leave so it's an investment of sorts (and it'll be used as a CD player as well!)
Yup, I went and bought a PlayStation. Sorry - I saw Formula 1 '99 and it just looked too good not to play. Then the sweats started, the hallucinations, bad dreams... I'd wake up in a wet bed screaming "No - hit the X button and use a 4 hit combo with Yoshimitsu..."... you get the idea.
Now - most things I write in this journal seem to go pear shaped, so I'm not going to make any promises about keeping the buying of games to an absolute minimum, cos then it won't happen... or something along those lines... maybe I've inherited the Power of Murray, master of anti-chaos. (for an explaination - you've gotta see the approved Guide entry for Formula 1. All will be revealed then. Maybe.)
All I need now is a new housemate. More on that as it happens.

I knew you would fold, but I thought you might make it to Xmas (just for the excuse). Anyway it is not all bad, it's not as if you are throwing money away! Don't mind me, we just had our Xmas party weekend and I am starting to rival the deficits of tyrannised Third World countries 'cept I am paying with sleep instead of cash. I think that I will steer well clear of Playstation and its ilk, at least until I wake up again!

Hi Stuart,
well I finally got around to registering for this yoke so I can send you messages. Glad to hear you've succumbed to the power of playstation, but I'm a bit surprised you bothered finding somewhere to live before finding something to play.
Anyhow, still in work here, I'll send some news as it occurs to me!
