I won't suggest you'll be able to speak dutch even after years of practice in writing. Languages are vocal. This thread however can be use to get a start in writing and or reading dutch.

Languages are vocal and any english speaking person will have dificulty pronouncing dutch
as soon as possible, the writing dutch thread will see its first lesson....

Apparently you do speak dutch, or at least write it.
I think we also can say you will manage to pronounce it such way I wont recognise it as dutch? Perhaps even the other way around, I master some 'slang' as used in Braband as well. (Though I'm from Dordt)
