Would it be better submitted to the Writing Workshop? You might get more response on how to improve it for the edited guide there. I don't have much to do with the edited side of things so I can't really be much help.

It's not going to get into the edited guide. Perhaps I'll fiddle with it to make it more readable, but that would, if anything, make it even less appropriate.
And the impending end of the GW part of DNA suggests that we should put as much effort as possible into the AWW (as, although not in this case, candidate material for the Underguide).
Anyway, I'll try to write some more obviously "Alternative" pieces. Perhaps.

I don't know that making it more readable would make it less appropriate. We've UnderGuide entries before now where all that stopped them from being EG was the style they were written in. The contents were entirely factual.
I could point you to a couple of those if you're interested. Or you could do an h2g2 search on "Three Popes". That'll find one.
You don't hold with Tony Robinson's discovery that the succession took a wrong turn very early on in this sequence and that the true King, and Prince of Wales, are Australians then?
Or perhaps that's why there has been so much misfortune?

Tony Robinson followed a diversion towards the end of the Wars of the Roses (Edward IV illegitimate? I can't remember). Were I really concerned to determine the Rightful King, I'd look for the proper heir of the Saxon kings.

I believe this one is a contestant for the Flea Market.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
