Hi all,

As we're sure some of you are aware, the word 'wop' is a racial swearword and is included as a referral in the profanity filter. While this is helpful for the football messageboards, where such a term may be used offensively, we know that the word has a completely different - non-offensive - meaning on h2g2. This also means that a thread that has the sole purpose of posting the same word again and again is going to clog up the Moderation system while the Mods try to decypher if the word is being used offensively.

As we do not have unlimited resources, regretfully, we have to bring a close to this particular thread.
