Jimi X

The X family bought our X-mas tree and brought out all of our holiday decorations. The house looks really great all decked out and this may be the earliest we've ever gotten our decorating done.

So naturally, I've decorated my Personal Space in its holiday garb as well...

Happy Holidays! smiley - santa

When do people start hanging their decorations over there?

In the states, most folks start the Friday after Thanksgiving (the day after the fourth Thursday in November).

Do you lot start earlier or later?

Yeah, the shops start the day after Halloween here too...

To my mind, that's *way* too early! Though my house being decorated before 15 December is a first-time event! smiley - xmastree

The only way moving house over the holidays could be more stressful is if you'd throw a baby into the mix...

My eldest was born on 15 December...

Talk about stress! I'm always amazed that we survived that first winter living in our one-bedroom apartment.
