I took the girls to the local elementary school for the annual summer fair.
We ate lots of junk food - hot dogs, chips, ice cream and soda. And played lots of games. The good thing about a school fair like this is that all the kids playing win a prize after a few tries.
Luckily, we only won a few gold fish this year which we then donated to our neighbours fish pond. (We've had nothing but rotten luck keeping 'fair fish' alive once we get them home!)
It was fun and we all got a little bit of sun. And yes, I did apply sun block to the children with appropriate SPF before we left the house. (The lovely Mrs X would have had my head if I hadn't!)
