It is my firm beleif that chocolate is the very food of the gods. An example: is there anything else in this world that is considered by some to be considered as good as sex? NO.(I'll take it back if you can prove me wrong)
Chocolate can lighten a day. It can soften a blow and yes of course in exsess can widen the waist line but it is still my firm beleif that chocolate is here to stay and those who try frequently to give it up (yes you!) only succed in bringing upon themselves misery beyond compare.
Icecream is definatly from heaven but maybe on second thoughts Chocolate is from hell.

Yes, me! I try frequently to give it up, with varying degrees of half-heartedness. Of course, I fail every time, but it's one of the few failures that feels really good.
Actually, I do know something that's better than chocolate AND better than sex... having both at the same time.
As for the food of the gods, it's a hard call between chocolate and ice-cream, so the obvious answer is... chocolate ice-cream! Preferably Ben & Jerry's 'Phish Food', but there one crosses the line from indulgence into sheer decadence. Mmmm, decadence....

Truly you have bettered me.
Ah!A simpsons fan you are a HHGTTG fan a chocolate, icecream and most importantly the simpsons! If not for the fact that you may possibly be a six yearold girl or a convict in jail you would be right up my alley.
If you are to call yourself a true chocolate eater then you must try belgan chocolate, talk about sheer decadence!

I could, indeed, be a six-year-old girl or a convict in jail. Or both. There's a lot of dangerous six-year-old girls out there.
Any chocolate from that general region - Belgian, German or Swiss - is guaranteed to melt me into a puddle of bliss. Lindt "Lindor", "Excellence" cherry-filled, Cointreau-filled or cognac-filled; Drostë Pastilles dark, milk and extra creamy; Milka alpine cream; Erfrischungsstäbchen; Schogetten milch-kreme and noisette; Leonidas' white chocolate coffee creams; Illy's "Après Ski" hazelnut hot chocolate....
I feel a delicious failure coming on. There's a little chocolate importer's shop I've discovered not far from the office, and right now it's seductively murmuring my name.....

There is a nice little chocolate shop i know that you would die to be in. That info dosen't help you in any way but it makes me feel good!
Stay strong 'Even' you can do it. (But most probibly die trying)

Even as we speak (figuratively), I am tackling one of those ridiculously over-sized Toblerones, the kind that would most certainly prove to be deadly if eaten in a single sitting. Jealous, anyone? Hmmm... I wonder how many laps on the track this is gonna cost me? From that point of view, chocolate helps keep me fit! That is, if I could call myself fit and keep a straight face...

Your phrase "sheer decadence" reminded me of this:
America — a country that has leapt from barbarism to decadence without touching civilization
—John O'Hara
The Penguin Dictionary of Modern Humorous Quotations
Compiled by Fred Metcalf
Enjoy!

And THAT reminds me of a piece from the Devil's Dictionary:
"Debauchee, n. - One who has so earnestly pursued pleasure that he has had the misfortune to overtake it." [Ambrose Bierce, "Devil's Dictionary," 1911]
I thought he might have one for 'decadence' too, but apparently not.

Coffee-flavoured with cornflakes and toasted hemp seeds, anyone? I kid you not, and frankly I wouldn't go out of my way to find any more. I do some work in an eco-advice centre, and we've had some 'interesting' hemp-based products. Hemp gummy frogs? Hell, what happened to smoking the stuff, THEN eating chocolate? They'll be wearing it next...

Wearing it? HHMMMMM YES! Thats what I'll do. Cheers
The uses of hemp are infinate, though the inventers of theese uses usually have smoked beforehand.
Any ideas coming on?
