Xmas turned out to be everything I hoped it wouldn't be, Arguments, drinking too much that weird sense of failiure you get when someone opens their present (even if they like it), all these things and more were there in abundance so much so that I am considering not recognising christmas ever again. We build it up hype it and wonder why it is always the same; the fact is it's NEVER different with a family christmas, there is always a member of your family you have considered killing by the end of the festivities, you always realise petty things that annoy you about people in your family and the xmas meal NEVER tastes as good as the ones when you were a kid.
So whats the point...
Ah well at least the kids seemed to have a good time!
