h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

My guide entry A9559227 has been "referred" because it contained a list of threads I wanted to bring to the attention of the host & moderators of the S&N boards.

I have been the victim of other similar censorship on the S&N boards, but I have had no reply to NINETEEN emails on the matter.

I started a thread to this effect on the Opinions board ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbsn/F2564204 ), and it has been removed. Not just hidden, but completely removed.

Yes kiteman I really do know what you mean and I agree with you and this post because you have said here exactly what I am saying now something is 'rotten in the halls of the BBC'.

Aren't you supposed to "banned" from the BBC? So how are you contacting me here?

NB Banned from mbsn is not the same as banned from h2g2 or the rest of the BBC site. Since your account is on h2g2, people who've partially re-registered with h2g2 (even if they started their account somewhere else on the site) can leave you messages on your PS here.

you misread what I said (probably deliberately), then misquoted me on the BBC forum where I can not reply (even as BD now ), I am restricted from the S&N part of the forum.......thats all, and if you look at my post, I actually agree with what you are saying, but I doubt that makes any difference.

You think that SEF is the hootoo police? Hit the alarm button and SEF comes and takes your post away?

If you check the various parts of your "Space", you will see a "friends" list - if you put other people on that list, you get alerted automatically to messages in their journal area.

It's also a good way of keeping track of trouble-makers away from a specific board. If you pay attention, SEF was correcting *me*, because it turns out that being banned from S&N does not mean you are banned from other areas.

What did you do, anyway? You said you got an email from the mods - why are you banned?

The thing is,
I wasn't and are not a trouble maker, despite what you think or are trying to point out, I am just slightly miffed that I have been restricted/censored for no reason.

And,
what did I do to get restriced?,
you tell me? , I haven't a clue.
TheGalloway was restricted for having the same IP address as bizarredorothy (obviously), and is still restricted even after I sent an email explaining.(The original email actually said I could continue posting as BD ), now BD has been restricted, with out any form of reason, The only thing I did was try and correct a few snippets of misinformation that was coming out of others posts and also just point out the few glaring contradictions in the moderation of that forum.

(some of the smileys on here are pretty cool as well)

Have you tried the links I gave in the thread? You should be able to contact the mods that way even if you are restricted. Let me know how you go.
