h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I’ve avidly read and been enthralled by ‘The Cheaters’, ‘The Changeling’, ‘How long is a piece of string?’, ‘A stitch in time’ and all three parts of ‘The Bleeder’. I’m getting familiar with the site now so delved further into your homepage, keen to find more. One person suggested you adopt a commercial style and I learned a lot about your interesting background from reading your reply. The question of commercial style is a mystery to me. All I can say is that any prior notions of ‘reviewing’ these pieces went out of the window, as I relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed one entertaining read after another. Your work is a fine tribute to the people (and canines) from your past. I think you capture those memories of bygone days perfectly, with dry humour, affection and respect shining through. Full marks to you.

Thanks for the compliment and the reading of my material, reading on the site seems to have detiorated a bit so I put a bit more effort into review, trying to create a bit more interest.Many years of writing probably cultivated my report style of writing, but when I joined this site not long ago I could not even copy and paste, tuition from members on here has improved my work greatly. And I will keep posting a bit, of stuff right until the last minute, if there is one, Beans in particular has a similar style to myself and he is very helpful, and so are many others, pity that a few idiots with frustrated egos have been so negative.
