Hi EMR,
Disaster has struck. My pc decided to turn itself off on Sunday night and now it refuses to start. We think the processor has given up the ghost.
As TM is at home and frantically job-seeking this means I have very limited use of his computer - managed to sneak on here while he reads in bed. Sadly this means that I won't be able to assist you with the upcoming edition of The Post.
We are hoping that we can get a second hand processor in the next couple of days so I should be back for the next edition. Fingers crossed that this is the only problem as I really don't want to lose my graphics and ftp programs which I use for sorting out the cartoons and photographs etc.
It may be good to mention the h2g2 London Autumn meet in the editorial.
At least enforced offline activity means more book-reading which is a good thing although recent events in my neighbourhood mean we are surrounded by policemen and partly cordoned off - I'll elaborate when I get back onto YiM

Oh bugger. I just sent you an email - I'm quite ill and am going to sleep right now even though it's early because I have a big exam at school tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be feeling well enough to look at the computer for long enough to get the issue finished tomorrow. Actually, now that I think about it, if I leave the graphics be for this week I shouldn't have any problem getting it done.
Sorry to hear about your computer issues.
