Hello
I have a couple of questions which thought you may be able to answer if you wouldn't mind On your first posting you said that you had seen my journal listed in twenty most recent postings what do you do to see this list and is there anyway to visit someones site and leave a message if you do not have them bookmarked and they are not on line

For the first question, ... Look at the bottom of my introduction page. (Clicking on my name, above this post, takes you there) I have a number of links to different sides of h2g2. One of them is "INFO Stuff" Once there, just create a bookmark or "favourite" with your browser.
And to visit anyone else's "personal space", just find them in any conversation, and click your mouse on their name. It takes you right there. And then, as you've seen, at the top right, you can leave them a message or add them as a friend. Or if you are just curious, again use your browser to set a bookmark/favourite.

No worries. If I can ever give a hint or a help, don't be shy to ask. And if I don't know it, your best route is who-ever called on you first, as an ACE. They are volunteers who greet new folks, and generally know quite a lot about this place. Or atleast who to call with a question.
How's your week been? My own was really quite busy, and very physical. And I am feeling every one of my 47 years this evening.

Good morning to you from both postings,
I found the right button thank you and while perusing the converations read the one on " is this the new religion" it's about cyberspace and whether or not it was filling the spiritual void in peoples lives
Funny thing is when I sat down and wrote in my journal I almost didn't put it out there because I didn't know if I wanted to write anything so personal and leave it out there for anyone to see, yet at the same time this journal thing is handy for thinking about things and then when I flipped back I found your response and I thought yes he's right.
And then I started wondering why over the last week or so I have devoted so much time to this activity is it because I am enjoying a new experience, is it talking to people I wouldn't normally meet or is it simply that I am forced to think about things that normally would not even come up in my day to day life and streuth it's way to early in the morning to be haveing this conversation especialy before I have had my morning cuppa which for me is black coffee but haven't figured out how to get that icon yet so I am using the tea cup.
To answer your question my week has been spent reading, writing, catching up with friends who have been absent a long time, playing with children, finally taking down our tree and putting the ornamants away, training my wayward kelpie...... and helping three of the males in my life assess who it is they really are and what they want out of the rest of their lives.... one is my beautiful 16 year old son , one is my much adored 48 year old husband and the last is 34 and my best friends hubby weird how things bunch together.
Why was your week so physical

This place can be addictive, and you meet so many people of such different worlds. And with so much distance, you can be you, or anyone you choose to be.
My work-place is a huge old aircraft-engine maintenance building. That often accrues a lot of stuff.and every so often, it needs shuffling, moving, and sorting.

We have bits and complete systems of military radio and radar stuff. Ranging from a few ounces to a couple of tonnes. Much of it is obsolete, but until it is "officially" termed as such, it has to be maintained, stored, and dealt with.
I'm just glad that it isn't a tool-storage place. Being a natural-vorn male, I'd myself into dehydration.
