time well wasted

Alright, so apparently my skills at keeping a current and up to date journal are non existant. It's been a while... a long while. And I suppose I could try and fill you on whats been going on in my life for the past months, but really, its all the same old same old. We laugh we cry.. we feel the pain. But in the end it all comes down to the moment - the present. The here and now. That's what really matters. That's what really counts... Everything that you have done in your life has led you to be the person you are in this moment, this fragment of time in your life. That's it really. Quite simplistic, no twists or hidden corners.
And now Im just wondering. the mistakes we make, the lessons we learn.. in the end does it all add up to the same thing. Do we ever figure it out? Do we all make it? or is the realisation about what its all about only granted to a select few.. if any?..
And I wonder if the time Ive spent so far has been spent well. Or if it has been wasted on things we think are important but are merely materialistic and mean nothing when it comes down to it.
Love... we live for love i think. Not just one type, but many. You friends, your family.. your better half...
If thats the case, then I've spent my time well.
