Hello Clarissa,
I am CaroleHudson and have just joined this site. Saw your name and thought I would make contact.
Im not really sure if this will help my writing but it is fun to be in touch with other like-minded people I guess. It's like a creative writing group online I spose!
Mind you I spose we would all get a lot more writing done if we didn't spend so m uch time writing to each other!!
Best wishes

Hi there and welcome to GW,
Just quickly answering as I have to rush to catch a train and will be away for a couple of days but PROMISE I shall write at greater length when I get back and perhaps be of some help...
Happy New Year, guess that is OK, we're not that far into 2005 yet, and in the hope that we last until after March 31st!
btw, have you signed the Save GW petition yet?
"Speak" to you soon

Hi there,
How GW works - there are so many aspects that I find it difficult to tell you where to start. However, the most obvious place is GW Home.
If you write something and you hope for a review, you must click on to Write, then follow the instructions. You will have a choice of genres, after which your piece, poem, etc will automatically show up in the list of that genre which you and others can access by clicking on the bar just under the big Get Writing logo. Other members look under the different lists and, if a title or the intro to the piece interests them, will go on and read and review that piece. Incidentally, one way of getting to know people on GW is by reviewing their work - this often leads to their reading your postings.
There are also a lot of groups - it is a good idea to join one or two of these and thus "get to know" other members of GW. Also, you will be able to get more reviews of your work if people know you... They can all be found on the GW Home page, as well as Community News, Talk etc.You must just check it all out and subscribe to conversations or join groups that correspond to your interests or desires.
It is a little difficult getting started but once you do make contact with other members, you will find it is a great site. I personally have made many "friends" through GW. Moreover, I have noticed a true improvement in my writing and in the writing of others that I have reviewed.
I have subscribed to the Flash Challenge, which is fun, but you do have a vast choice.
Hope this has been some help - if you have any more questions, just leave me a message in the same way as you did the first time and I'll get back to you.
Congrats on your publishing successes!
All the best
Clarissa
