Sorry for the confusion - wanted to delete what was in the journal: had to write a subject for the new journal entry so typed in subject:empty and cut and pasted the line about having to put in a subject for journal entry...Not allowed to leave the "title" box empty as with other postings...
SORRYEEEEE!

Lost me here you two, but Clarissa re journal, I was of the opinion when I joined G.W. where it said you could delete work it meant all work, then I was told that you can not delete from journal at all, and I obviously stopped using journal. However having already put my most important material in there, I asked the moderators if they would delete it for me and it has gone.

Thanks for the tip, H,
Not being able to delete from the journal, I resorted to this ruse...

SORRYEEEE! - I've heard that word six times pronounced with that same exagerated "E" today - all in high pitched voices, all from glossy lips, all from decidedly self-interested people - excepting you of course

no glossy lips, a low pitched voice - self-interested, can't judge that

LMScott, hello. You mentioned above that you got the moderators to delete your journal entry. You can't have because journal entries are not deletable - I've just had confirmation of that from Caite. I'd like to get rid of my entry but am stuck with it..

Hi Hearst,
Do not know how, but my journal is empty now, and there was a lot in it before. I understand that they can not be deleted.
Cheers H.

Hi LMScott & generonhiles
You're lucky, LMS that somehow your journal got deleted... What's up with you, genieronhiles, are you very happy or very sad .... or uncertain about which you are...!

Well said Hearst, personally I think that in the end, the legal situation will enable you to insist on your work being returned or deleted, it is yours. But far better if they leave well alone, probably cheaper too, by just cutting back on chat lines and hot air.

what the hell's up with you guys? why would you want ANYTHING deleted? if you make a mistake in print have the balls to apologise but, as writers, if you actually believe 'your' words the least you should do is stick withem

Hello eloquentduke
Where have you been? You haven't produced any pieces for the flash titles recently...
Thanks LMScott. I can't think why they make the journal a fixed entry...
Glad you're happy in this grey month of January, ron
