"as to my "OPINION"
you should then jump off and take the german with you.
sorry, but i still havnt forgiven the germans for the Jews.
and You Americans need to learn to shoot the ENEMY not your allies."
...
Do you think that maybe your statement was a little harsh ??
Can I ask where you're from?

yes, that did sound exceptionaly harsh.
well over the top, but i never said it with the pure intention of an insults.
merely a statment so bold that it cannot be misinterpreted.
as to where i am from, i did have the mis fortune to be born on that rock alled britain, but dont hold that against me as i have no allegience to any existing country.
what i do belive in however, is warfare without accidents.
now i may not be an expert, but i have shot well over a thousand live rounds in simulation and anger, and i have NEVER hit the wrong target.
dont get me wrong, i have missed my target more than enought times, but at least i was AIMING at the right target.
in my world, a weapon doesnt get fired unless you can garuntee it will hit the intended target and nothing else.
america, however may actually have the honor of being the one country you have to fear as a freind as well as an enemy.

I just found your comment on the German/Jewish thing a little disouraging...I mean, can we still blame people now for what happened then?
I mean, we could do the same thing here with the English/Aboriginal thing, but it's a grudge I chose not to hold. I like to be able to take people as I see them, rather than the past trangressions of their countries...
And I can, to a certain extent, understand your views on the "friendly fire" deal, but then I've never been in combat and I've never been to war, so I don't know enough about the individual stories or circumstances to judge...
I just wanted to understand what you were saying, because the statement itself seemed a bit strong to me, and I thought it would make more sense to me in some sort of context.
Thank you for you candour.

i know i said i wouldt talk again but i felt this specific topic needs to be cleared up, once and for all.

"blame" implies punishment, which is different from restitution.
Now if a German(in the instants of WW2). commits horrible acts in the name of their "society" im simply saying their children might consider doing MORE notable acts of Good, in the scocieties they did war upon.
People died and killed in the name of 'germany'.. 'Germany' still exists and has a lot mor thatn sanctions and money to make up for.
yes is it the same as britain and the aborigionaees(sorry for the pelling). a lot of people have a lot of work to do in this world to make up for the past transgressions of the very societies that nurture their existence.
as to "friendly fire", we shuld not care about 'individual circumstance' beyond a certain point.
"one ACCIDENTAL loss of life is tragic"
"two is an absolute bloody DISASTER"
with thousands of years of combat knowledge, ethics, practicality, guilt, bla bla
dont you think by now we should of got the hang of "ACCIDENTS".
every soldier should think like a sniper.
"one shot one kill".
and if you have to put humans against humans, then to do anything other than remove the power system that causes harm is UNETHICAL in the extreme, people just dont seem to either get it or care!
sorry to pick on germany so badly but as an example YOU HAVE DONE SO MUCH, SO RECENTLY!
sadam hussain should have been assasinated a decade ago!(or whenever it was he decided it would be 'fun' to extermine his own people)
after the huge mistake of world war 1 germany should have just taken the bitter pill and worked up from there.
WAR DOES NOT MAKE WEALTH, DEVELOPMENT CREATES WEALTH.
If i lived in a country that tried to 'take over the world' and failed, i would be quite happy to live in a tent with a bit of food and a fire and a bath every now and then. other than that i would be happy to give my every ability to the state, long enough for every one to get going again. its just a consequence of a decision you had a part in in the first place.
if you dont like your place in the world, just move.
'societies' reside on little bits of land accross the globe, just MOVE.
you shouldnt feel patriotism to a piece of land, but to a set of values.
and if the state you reside in does not have the values you have then move to one that does.
any realy bad systems will soon find it a bit difficult to self sustain. and if they do war, well remove the leaders.
soon, very few conflicts in the world.
is a bit drastic of course, but when has a new system never been...
there are worse people out there than me...

I never said you were a bad person, I'm just interested in finding out what you're trying to say.

Sorry, I don't understand what you're trying to say, could you please clarify it for me ?
I agree that war, genocide and loss of human life is a terrible thing. The point I'm trying to make is I don't really see why the sins of the fathers should be visited upon their sons.
