It's nice that you are keen to welcome others to h2g2, but in making the first greeting you are removing the newbies from our list to those needing to be greeted by an <./>ACE</.>

It would be nice if you either wait until after they have been officially greeted. However, should you find a newbie has already posted you can always post into that same thread yourself

If you ever find a newbie not already greeted, please let us know in the <./>ACE</.>s Home Page and one of us will get there as soon as possible
