A new chapter - Galway

Owing to there not being much work on the island, I'm now in Galway with Sonia (of trip to Slovakia fame, about which I will write soon). Am currently staying with Sonia at her boyfriend's mother's house until we find something a little more permanent.
Tomorrow I hope to hear back about some temp admin or data entry work, which would keep me going until after Christmas. After that, I think I'll head somewhere else in Ireland, but dunno where yet! Other vague thoughts include going back to edinburgh to retrieve the last of my belongings, and it occurred to me tonight that I should really try and go skiing somewhere since this will be my last winter in Europe!
