Hi,
I signed a contract with an agent a month ago and left her with the unenviable task of trying to flog these stories to a publisher. She did warn that it could take some time, however she heard back from one yesterday, who rejected them on the grounds that they were depressing and ‘filled one with despair’.
Rejection I can handle as I understand just how incredibly difficult it is to be published, but the comments took me aback.
Anyway, one down, plenty more to go.
I see you have been busy! I haven’t time to read tonight as I am going out for a meal, but I will take a look tomorrow.
