According to http://www.nmm.ac.uk the national maritime museum is in Greenwich.

As an ex mariner I can confirm that the one in Greenwich is the National Maritime Museum. I think the Liverpool one is the Merseyside Maritime Museum.

The National Maritime Museum SHOULD (and im sure used) to be in Liverpool Albert Dock.
