Cutting room staff invent the perfect Gargleblaster
The Duke of Dunstable Started conversation Mar 21, 2005
The people who are gently piecing together the Hitchhiker movie in the cutting room have invented what they consider is "the perfect Pangalactic Gargleblaster". I'm very anxious to try it, it sound delightful. They say it tastes "similar to a strong Margarita". It goes like this:
30ml of 42 Below Vodka (http://www.42below.co.nz)
30ml of Sagatiba Cachaca (http://www.sagatiba.com)
dash of Licor 43 (http://www.licor43usa.com)
squeeze of fresh lime
Martini glass
Cocktail shaker
Crushed ice
Place a single ice cube in the martini glass and allow it to chill.
Pour the measures of 42 below Vodka, Sagatiba Cachaca and Licor 43 into the shaker with a generous amount of crushed ice. Squeeze in a large wedge of fresh lime and shake.
Remove the ice cube from the glass, shake off any excess liquid and carefully drain the contents of the shaker into the glass.
Either shoot it back or slowly savour it. Either way, enjoy.
