...this is such a tricky one but 'What's the Name of the Game?' has to be up there. And I also have a soft spot for 'Ring Ring.'

Oh there's so many that I can't decide. Um, ah...

It's probably got to be 'Angel Eyes'. Or maybe the same one that Natalie likes. And Gimme Gimme Gimme and Voulez Vous cos they're a bit rude. J (9 year old boy) loves Mamma Mia, and I think Ring Ring is one of the others he likes.

Oh, and I like 'When I kissed a teacher'.

Muriel's Wedding was a fab film, anyone seen that?

I know sod all about the band, cos I'm a bit shallow and only like the music. Try to avoid seeing any cotumes that they may have worn.

Abba, rude?!!! NO!!!

I love the drama of the verses of 'Knowing Me Knowing You' - '...bad days [BAD DAYS!]' but the chorus has been ruined for me to an extent by the whole (admittedly fantastic) Alan Partridge thing.

I think my favourites out of ABBA's biggest hits are:

Mamma Mia
Money, Money, Money
Take A Chance On Me
The Winner Takes It All

and my least faves include...

Chiquitita
Fernando
Thank You For The Music
Super Trouper - all of which are just far too sickly for me!

Hmmmm yes I think I agree with you there on the least favourites!

And since Gosho insists, another fave track I've just remembered - 'SOS.' Fabulous!

My favourite is a bit of an orphan - it always seems to be overlooked when people talk about Abba. It wasn't their biggest hit, sure, but I like "The Day Before You Came".

I always liked that one too smiley - ok Most love songs are written about being in love already, but a love song chronicalling (how do you spell that? smiley - erm) the events of a normal day before meeting someone and falling in love with them... now that's clever smiley - biggrin

Kerr_Avon - hunting stray apostrophes and gutting poorly parsed sentences

Well as a general rule I don't, but should it be required I think you'll find 'chronicling' is the way to go.

My favourite track would probably have to be "The Name of the Game" but I've got a soft spot for "Intermezzo No 1" - an instrumental track from one of their earliest albums. Honourable mentions to "SOS", "Waterloo", "Dancing Queen" (although it's played to death, it's still great) and I quite like "Lay All Your Love On Me" (especially after Erasure covered it).
