I was just looking around to learn a bit of some of the people whose names I see here and there. Just wanted to say you have been down the block and back more than me. We older persons do have a lot of history. Some people say they haven't done anything to talk about and if it is true it is a damned shame. I'm 62 and have been entertaining getting a new motorcyle in my mind. But right now my bride needs me whole so I've nixed that for now. Thank you for letting me read your adventures in work and play. I'm not a good DIY either. But while the work may look a little sloppy I have saved money fixing my own furnace, replacing the comode, and installing new kitchen sink and counters. Unfortunately I have had several problems with electricity. I blew out a fan, started a stove clock on fire and I am probably the cause of the wall fire at one of the sockets. I could mention some other things but I think you get the idea.
Be seeing you at Lil's.
Mo

Hi Mo
it is good for me to know I am not the only bloke who cannot manage D.I.Y I no longer touch the electrics. The stupid thing about it is my son trained as an electrician and I did not ask for his help
I have made some good friends on this space, I do not get as much time here as I use to as I am doing an Open University degree, I am a bit on the 'thick' side so it is hard going but I enjoy it
A few years ago I decided I would get me a motor bike but as soon as I mentioned it The Boss started talking about leaving me so I thought better of it . She said I was just yearning for my youth and I would probably get killed. I expect she was right.
It was good to hear from you

What we don't do for the "Boss?" But what would life be without them, eh?

One more thing. The old eyes are faling me. But I just realized it is Kif. My apologies.

I have been reading your journals Mo and found them rivetting. Have you ever thought of putting your life into a book? I thought my life had been a bit rumbustious but yours.
I was so sorry to read of your wife's illness. My lady was ill for many years and had a lot of surgery. Thankfuly she recovered and is continuing to do so. But For many months I had to do everything for her as she was so helpless so I have some idea of what it might be like for you.
Take care

Hi Kif,
And it hit me. What would they do without us??
Thought it might be fun to write. But it takes me a couple of hours just to write a couple of paragraphs. But what I find most interesting is not my story but the people I have run into. Thanks for the thought.
