a brilliant November day. Cold but very sunny. We potterd about the house this morning, several people phoned which was good and I baked some bread
After lunch we drove to Pendeen light house and I walked along the cliffs while The Boss sat in the car. Some friends of ours turned up and they kept her company while I was walking. I walked as far as the path down to the beach. At the top of the path there is a pile of decaying flowers and wreathes. They were put there at the end of the summer when a little boy was drowned.
When I got back to the car The Boss was being regaled with a blow by blow account of our friends battles with ill health. I think she was quite pleased when I suggested we leave. We drove across the moors to Madron and the road was empty so I managed to get a bit of speed up which The Boss likes. The road is so high you can see for miles ahead so it does lend itself to a bit of fast(but safe) driving. Lovely.
We came home and I made a big chicken curry which we should really have left until tomorrow to eat but it smelled good so we ate it this evening.
Settled down to watch our favourite programme and once again had a little reminisce about the 'Olden Days'
