The hunt met in the village square this morning. I walked up to see the meet. There must have been fifty or more riders. One of the biggest meets for years. There were hundreds of onlookers The Master made a speech about freedom and dictatorship and got a load of applause. But not from me. Although it was only 11 in the morning there quite a few drunks about. One woman who looked as though she had been out all night was kissing all the men she could catch hold of and making a real show of herself.
I was surprised there were no hunt protesters about, there was however a huge police presence. I stayed only a few minutes then came home.
We have had a quiet day. I think we are both a bit concerned about The Boss's visit to the hospital tomorrow.
