Another nasty windy rainy day i went up for the papers and despaired at the state of the village. This regeneration thing is making such a mess of what was a pleasant place to live. Digging up the roads everywhere, heaps of rubble around. The whole thing is a mess.
We thought we would have a quiet day in but the 'phone went at half past two, we were both doing the old people thing, having a little and it was The Son's wife wanting us to pick the children up from school. So I had to take the car out and go to Pz.
Both girls are at rehearsals this evening. One at Kidz the other at Pz opera. The E.D.G. is sleeping at the other granny's tonight so we only have onegirl sleerping. Their room is expected to be finished on Saturday so then we can get back to normal. We like having them but hate having to get out of bed in the morning to get them off to school.
