h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

A funny old day weather wise. Sunshine one minute, pouring with rain the next. I managed to get a walk in this evening. I picked the E.G.S up from school to take himto the chiropodist. He was delighted to get out of school early he was very when the chiropodist stuck a scalpel into his toe to let out the infection. He may have to have his toenail off later.
All the family came in this afternoon. Cleared us out of biscuits and drank gallons of tea. The Son told us he is about to make a huge deal concerning a local harbour the new owners have been talking to him what it entails I have no idea.
The Boss has had some pain again today but as usual she is stoic about it.
I have entered a poem into a competition. The Boss and I are already spending the prize money
Stuff came from the O.U.today for me. it was supposed to contain important information and it Didn't so I had to 'phone them
I read a thing in our parish magazine today entitled 'How To Give A Cat A Tablet' I laughed till the tears ran down my face. There is no author credited. I am trying to find out if it is someone's copyright. If it isn't I would like to share it here because it is so funny, especially for cat lovers.
