My sister in N.Z. rang first thing which was a really good start to the day. All is well with her family and we had a good gossip about our relations and brought each other up to date with the goings on with the family in each country.
We went to a christening at Pendeen church this morning. We really enjoyed the service and met loads of people we haven't seen for a while. It was quite a posh do so I wore a jacket, not posh enough for a tie as well thoughsmiley - smiley.
After the service we went to Wyevale for lunch. We managed to get a table easily enough but after we sat down hordes of people arrived and we waited over half an hourfor the food. Even so it was very good when it did arrive.
We took a drive over to Argal lake which was lovely. The beaches we passed to get there were crowded but at the lake there were no more than half a dozen people so it was very peaceful.
We decided to call in Newlyn as usual for an ice but the queue was so long we didn't bother to wait.
I rang The Olympian this evening he is having a bit of heart pain which is not good, I told him to get to the doctor tomorrow. I hope he does.
