h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

We were told that today would be stormy but it didn't happen here, it was dull and we had a little shower. We decided to have a day at home. I don't think The Boss and I could have managed another outing we are sooo tired. However we cooked a roast lunch between us and just let the kids play around the house and in the fields behind us. We had thought to 'do' things with them but were too wrecked to do anything other than let them get on with their own games. They kept popping in and out for drinks and the loo etc, but we saw little of them really. Each time they came in they were a little dirtier than before. At the end of the day they said it was one of the best days they had WOT! we should have kept them home all the week and saved all that money. We were just happy they enjoyed themselves, they have all had a scrub and gone to bed, and The Boss and I are feeling really relaxed having had a restful day.
