h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Yesterday was the first time I missed writing this diary since I started. We spent most of the day in Treliske hospital with The Boss being shuttled from one department to another as they took blood, water, and x rays. We have to go back Thursday week. By the time we got back I couldn't be a***d to write the diary. It was an exhausting day for both of us. The hanging around was awful. We spent more time in waiting rooms than we did in consulting rooms.
We are not best pleased with The Son as he hasn't bothered to find out how his mother got on. He would ring fast enough if he wanted something.
Today however has been brilliant. I went and did the flowers for The Lost Boy. There were peacocks in the churchyard, goodness only knows where they came from but they were quite a sight.
We did a bit of shopping then we sat in the garden most of the day. I did some O.U. work as I have a tutorial tomorrow morning and The Boss just sat and relaxed.
We feel a bit abandoned, I usually have loads of mail and phone calls, but it is ages since anyone contacted us.
No e mails , no letters and no postings I expect every one is busy enjoying the holiday weather. I have sent The Olympian a cheque and he hasn't even acknowledged it. Too bad.
