Busy busy busy A.The G was here just after half seven this morning and we dragged loads of stuff to the re cycling dump. That nearly killed me as I was chucking sacks over a seven foot wall as it was easier than dragging it around the house to the road. After that off to B and Q to get roofing felt and nails for the shed roof. Then Tescos for the big shop. We stopped for lunch in Renaissance the cafe bar over looking Mounts bay. The Boss had steak I had sausage and mash. The bay was wonderful. Deep blue sea, deep blue sky. A few jet skis and yachts and one big ship. A lovely sight but a pity the car park is between the cafe and the sea.
After the meal picked a few bits up in town bought flowers for the house and for Our Best Friend and up to see her as it is her birthday today. This time last year she was in hospital having chemo for leukemia and The Boss was in hospital having either her third or fourth op. Today it was great seeing them both together and happy. We spent an hour with them then back home. As soon as we arrived home The Son and his family turned up. Loads of noise and laughing then The Son getting up into the loft to bring down the extra bed ready for the kids long sleep over. When he was done he flopped down in the chair and told us that he was getting a bit old for dragging furniture(i.e one small camp bed) about as he was nearly 40. He is 39 next February. The Boss and I nearly died laughing. We are having his four little dears for a week while he swans off to Scotland and we are in our 70s. No stamina these young pups.
