h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

How quickly things can change. Until ten minutes ago this had been a good day, but then The Boss had to take to her bed with pain killers to quieten The Beast which has reared it's ugly head yet again. When this happens we never know if it is going to be a hospital job or if the pain killers will work and The Beast goes back to sleep. We'll see.
However the day started well. We hung around in bed until the middle of the morning, the off to the Marazion Hotel for lunch. A bit of shopping and home me to do some O.U.work and The Boss to put her feet up with chocolate and the television for a couple of hours.
Although it has been foggy and wet for most of the day the evening turned good. The sun came out and the sky was blue. It bodes well for good weather tomorrow.
A friend rang me to help arrange a surprise birthday party for his mum so I have been ringing people and swearing them to secrecy about it and inviting them to the party. it should be interesting as we shall be seeing people we haven't met for a couple of years.
I am a bit worried about The Boss, but I should be use to this by now. We keep a case packed ready in case I have to call an ambulance, I hope it will not be needed tonight.
