Funny old day today. Did some stuff around the house this morning. Went up to the shop and found a crowd of blokes had set up a cycling workshop in the car park. Bikes of all shapes and sizes there for people to try out. Even a cycle rickshaw to take anyone for a ride if they liked. A big notice said it was funded by the E.U. among other worthy bodies. What a load of B******s another waste of public money.
Writers group this afternoon which was fun. I read another of my short stories, they seemed to like it.
When I came home the neighbour was in with The Boss and as soon as she left The Cousin with the hair and his Mistress came in for a cup of 
The family were scandalised when their relationship came out but The Boss and I like her and we had a laugh. No sooner had they gone when The Son's Wife and The EGD came in. Between them all so much local gossip was covered. I reckon this village could make a good soap opera. the latest scandel concerns an unmarried mother of three, a holiday maker, and a violinist. You couldn't make it up!
