h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The Boss spent the morning baking cakes for A the V and I took them over. he was well pleased.
When I got back the phone went and it was my O.U.tutor giving me stuff to do before my first tutorial which is next Friday. he doesn't seem too fierce and he says he loves Cornwall which is the way to get on the right side of me!
We picked up the kids from school and brought them home for dinner. We were discussing music(again) and the Y.G.D. said she doesn't much like Will Young's music, but it is not because he is gay, that doesn't bother her. Wise words from a ten year old, but we thought how different things are. When The Boss and I were young 'gay' just meant lighthearted! and we had no idea about the other side of life.
I rang The Olympian this evening. His operation went well and he is home but he did not sound very well. he is staying with one of his ladies until he feels well enough to go home.
