h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

What an absolute disgrace this game was. Although we were not at our best the disallowed Sol Campbell goal was an insult to football. The ref should never be allowed to walk on a pitch again.I don't know why I get stressed out about the game but I do.
The rest of the day has been O.K. The Boss decided that we should buy new curtains for the sitting room which we did this afternoon. A shed load of money gone on floor to ceiling curtains all along one wall.
I expect they will look quite good when up. I treally did not want the ones we have taken down because The Eldest Son provided them for us when he started in interior design it was one of the first jobs he did when he went on his own. He did work for the B.B.C and for some very posh families and was well on his way to becoming a success when he was killed. So sad. His girl friend still lives in the village and she has now married a local chap and I hate seeing them out together which is wrong of me I know but I often wonder what might have been.
The Son came in this afternoon, he had been to the doctor because of chest pains. He was told to cut down on his drinking which is quite heavy because he spends a lot of time 'socialising' because of work. I wonder if he will be able to do it. he was also told to give up smoking which will be hard for him, although he has tried hypnotism, patches, and tablets in the past and had no success.
I do worry about him. His business is going well but he works very hard and he does get stressed. With four children, and all his boys toys to support I suppose he feels he has to. I just wish he would slow down a bit. He told us that his drinking helps him forget what happened to his brother. I told him he should never forget what happened.
