h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Blood tests this morning, and I thought the nurse was going to try and fill a bucket with the stuff it turned out to be four tubes full but there seemed to be gallons of it when it was pumping out. I had the E.C.G. this afternoon and whereas last Octobers' was sinus rhythm 'normal' todays print out says sinus rhythm 'complex with aberrant intraventricular conduction'!Don't care for that much. I shall know more when I see the Doc. next week.
The Son managed to get the speedboat into the bay last night and apparently it goes like the clappers. Perhaps now I will get my ride.
The weather is still good but the wind is getting up a bit. When I looked out to The Longships this morning a big sea was rolling in. It is good for the surfers bad for the sailors and terrific to watch.
The boss did some baking this afternoon and it came out of the oven just as The Sons' wife came in. She then told me that anyone with heart problems should never eat cake I shall see what the sawbones says about that next week! Some of the roses are out now and it cheered me up to wander around the garden and see all my hard work beginning to pay off.
