This morning I chopped down a tree
and I really enjoyed it, but it did make me a bit
after all the hard work, but it does gives us an expanded view in the garden. The trouble is I wasn't able to do anything other than sit in the garden all the afternoon drinking iced lemonade and reading a book with my feet up. The kids all came in after school and we had a mad game of cards until their mum came to pick them up. By playing very cleverly I managed to lose again
I had a letter from The Sister in N.Z. She sent cuttings from her paper showing a huge protest march by Maoris, they want to claim thousands of miles of seashore and beaches as their own property. There is trouble every where in the world these days. It is sad
