h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I love the sunshine we are getting every day. However we have had more sunshine and less rain since we had a water meter put in! The whole world is agin me My garden needs watering every day now what a bummer! still the sunshine is lovely and we were out in it again today, after we had done some 'comfort shopping' (clothes and ice cream for both of us).
The youngest granddaughter fell off her skate board again!! We had to provide a bandage to strap her wrist up because The son doesn't have a first aid kit. I feel like naming the house Woolworths because he expects us to have a stock of everything from garden tools to bandages. When I told him he should get his own gear he said he wouldn't bother because we had it all and anyway it would be his when we pop off. I think he was joking, but what he doesn't know is that we are spending loads so he may be a bit disappointed The French Cousin rang about tomorrow. She asked if someone else could come along, I said yes, that means I shall be paying for lunch for twelve now and the extra one is another cousin I didn't know I had. The tribe increases!
Met The lady With The Hair up town this evening when I went out for our chinese supper(Crispy duck rice mixed veg and stuff). We had a quick kiss and got stared at by the local nosey parker, that should cause a bit of gossip. it's a good job I told the Boss as soon as I got back home
The Boss rang the Spanish cousin this evening and she was tight she has sold her villa out there has to be in U.K.by Wednesday and the sale of her house over here has fallen through. Poor woman no wonder she is hitting the bottle.I am looking forward to tomorrow, I only hope I like my new found relatives, it will be an experience any way.
