h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I had a 'phone call today from my cousin in France. I have never met her but found her while researching my family on the internet. She is coming to Cornwall in a couple of weeks and we have arranged to meet. it should be interesting as we both have family history stuff the other doesn't have. My grandfather and her grandfather were brothers. my father changed his name and I had no idea what the family name was until after he died. I am really looking forward to meeting her.
I spent this morning in the garden and did quite a lot of work, the garden is beginning to look quite good.
I have been following the story about the supposed brutality against Iraquis by British soldiers. I think the pics are staged but we shall see. Why on earth our soldiers are out there any way I cannot understand. They should be here guarding our shores against illegal immigrants and sending the buggers back as soon as they land.
It has been a funny day weatherwise, rain and sunshine in turn.
Yvonne has had some pain again today which is a bit worrying.
loads of computers have been infected by a new virus. All the Cornwall county computers have gone down. So far my Norton protection seems to be working.
