TheDepressedYak

Hi, thanks a lot for the welcome message. I just have one question at the moment, though I'll probably get a lot more confused in the future. I've been reading in various places that any article which contains foreign words will be taken off by the moderators. Is this true? What if I want to write one about a french concept that has no exact translation in English? smiley - erm Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Clare.

Hello Clare smiley - smiley

smiley - erm good point I undrstand what you are saying, I can say dont wind me up and you would know what I meant, if I said 'dont throw me a teapot' you wouldn't but it means the same thing (and that is a real one) from the Jewish community, that is the word for word translation, I dont think it would be a problem as long as you use references to explain, we do have quite a few french researchers, I'll get Loup a French <./>ACES</.> (he lives in Essexsmiley - laugh)to stop by your space.

Also I'll see what I can find out for you, will post back to you this evening as I'm only on lunch at the moment smiley - sadface

blessed be

Jonathan <./>ACE</.>smiley - witch
