Hey Jen,
I just popped over to my "page" and saw the invite for the little project you're putting together. I have said it before, and I'll say it again: "you are a champion to this site", and its closure is in some way saddening to me as I won't be able to communicate with you as freely.
I think I understand what the topic is. I will write something tonight, and it will surely be brilliant. I will do my best to get it posted tomorrow, as I realize you are running short on time.
Poetry and prose only?
I also thought I saw you saying there were "great" pieces posted by others, including Mecca.
My dear girl, please lay off the hard stuff
Love,

Awh... if it ain't the Son of God himself!!
Well, how are things with you. Been a while. Things with me okey-dokey and just battering away until the doomed curtain drops it's sorry arse on us - about two weeks now.
See that you're also on Wd - seems like most of the old faces are too - well, near 600 now. Gawd, some feckin' brownie points to work up, eh?
As for a wee submission from you - that would be great, or rather 'brilliant', I must agree. Lol.
I will be gathering them all up later tonight and tomorrow as going to the 'GW meet' in B'ham (mid-England) at the w'end. Also visiting the twin bro and his family so should be a cool time, and loads of amber glowers, no doubt.
As for all the other 'great' pieces - don't be such a cheeky arse! We shall see. Put your money where your mouth is, boy!
And I need the hard stuff to keep me happily, hippily- sip insane. What's yer excuse?
Good to hear from you, stranger (and the wee sheep). Do hope all is well with you and yours.
Sláinte,
Jen

Things are going pretty good for me. I had a son, my third child, on the 8th of Feb. which contributes greatly to my lack of product (writing). His name is Harrison Lee, and he's a handsome s.o.b.
And I would, put my money where my mouth is, but I'm not sure anyone would want to see three dollars sticking out of my ass (cus all I do is talk sh!t)
Like I said, I'll do my best to get to you tomorrow.
A twin PenJen, eh? Damn

A twin? Yep, and we're not identical although me voice did break before his, but hey I'm 15mins older than him.
And many congratulations on Daddy status once more. Love the name, bet ye he's a wee bruiser, eh?
You sure have had a busy last 6 months or so of real life and futures - best of luck to you all.
As for me I've been quitting jobs, moving on to others and have just (as in yesterday) got a wonderful commission to head up an Women's Anthology of local fiction from both new and established writers. Still very early, early days. Book will be published whether or not we secure neccessary grants etc... but we're hoping to spin off other artisitic mediums from it too. Have to work on the proposal and plans near enough immediately. Really am still in a wee high from it. Also did first 'Open Mic' last month - went really well, (no audience tomatoes), and something else may wish to pursue again.
And take your time for the scribbles, you have your hands more than full, no doubt!
Wee hug to the baby.

Hey Jen,
It's called 'Typewriters' and its in the short story board. A3766638
It may sound stupid, but it doesn't seem to have the same impression as it did when I typed it out last night. I hope you get it.

Think I did, but what counts is that it is another individual voice swimming among the literary seas here, and you got the date in too.
Have posted it in and can be found in A3762010
Thanks for writing it and I liked it too because it was different, made me still and pay heed.
Catch ye on another time zone, Brad and have a cool w'end.
Take care,
Jen
