I love you, you are a beautiful and unique snowflake and your reviews are ace.
But your Intro irritates the pants off me (but not in a sexually exciting way).
Too many smilies is like too much chilli in my curry and too much information about you makes me feel uneasy.
Please don't change it just because I'm complaining. It's just that Intros generally wind me up on this site and nobody ever reviews them contructively.
It's great that you have vast smilie knowledge but your unusual icons give me a headache. Save them for confrontation or relationship breakups.
See you in room 101 (well at least your intro anyway).
Love
KJ
P.S. Note that my Intro has moderation issues so who the f**k am I to comment.

Hi Kieran,
Good to meet you, although we've bumped into each other a few times. Thanks for that really lovely description. Warms me. And yes, the sad truth is I read/review more than I actually write. Think my muse is hanging out in sunnier climates while this little 'snowflake' is going to melt! But thank-you for that.
As for my Intro - I totally understand where you're coming from. Have been tinkering with the same idea to fire the little feckers as they're too much, it's just they were fun to borrow at the time. You're not the first to comment on the flight of blobbliness, so no worries! You've just given me that extra knuckle-nudge to consider their future with in company, and I DO think most of them will be getting the sack this week. Don't tell!
Have been meaning to glance at your work recently but keep getting distracted, but I will. Did read the piece about you in the bar, alone, with the paper and the pricks. Liked it. Will reread again and leave a proper comment.
Anyway, thanks for dropping by and take care.
Jen
Just ONE smiley!
PS: I am well aware of the 'moderation' and your 'hidden posts'. It'll pass someday.

Thanks Jen,
I think you've mastered the art of reviewing poetry very well; it's not an exact science and honest feedback is hard to come by generally.
I'm glad you liked my story. I'm not too happy with my stories because my viewpoint is far too confused. That story (Hell is other people) needs rewriting and I'd be embarrassed if you read it again.
After reading your Intro last night I had an Irish theme in my head and this lead to the unthinkable; I've written some limericks A2922554 and I'd like to dedicate them to you because I think you make a valuable conribution to this site.
Warmest hugs
Kieran

Well Kieran,
Seeing as I do Book Reviews for the papers here I guess some of that has rubbed off and transported itself a little in here. Thanks for you kind remarks. Yet, I have never reviewed a poetry collection!
You'll be glad to hear that all the little yellow blighters, bar one, got the sack and have fallen off my page. Feels a little dull and lonely without them but I'll get used to it. You're part-responsible might I add!
Have read, and commented, on your little bg of limericks - interesting - and again thank-you, Sir, for the dedication. Uneccessary yet sweet.
Will catch up on reading you later in the week. Have a good one at that!
If you get a chance would you flick through mine? Would appreciate your take on them. Tá.

Hi Jen,
I'm wondering were I can fit in so I gave it some thought. You seem to get plenty of feedback on your poetry but not enough on your prose (that's my gut feeling- please correct me if you disagree). I'd be happy to review your stories in depth.
You can either post them to me on my page or alert me on some random thread.
So which story would you like me to look at first.
KJ
P.S. If you miss your smilies then bring them back. There simple little people with good vocals (almost like munchkins) and you're like the good fairy. There's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home.

Hi Kieran,
Sod the blobbies! They had to pack their rucksacks and bugger off! Getting used to the two-semitone pale face now, so not as great a loss as suspected!
If you are up for it, you could read my bits and bobs I've already posed in 'Life Writing'. (Coment pieces if to slim-line them)
The links are all on my port page so should take you direct. I find it hard setting time aside at the moment, never mind the discipline, to write pieces other than poetry. Must jump to it with both feet earthing for the stroll or the kick. I'm a lazy soul at the best of times!
I appreciate your generous spirit and offer and will dander to your own parcel of poetry/prose by the w'end.
Am only here for a mo, have a lot of stuff on, so wil be darting in and out in next fold of days. Take care yerself.
Jen
PS: I always wanted to be Dorothy. Had a dress very similar years ago, (and the plaits), and now have the dog!
Key: Complain about this post
