Hey Krissy! I'd never noticed the message centre before........
Looking forward to the new season?
Come on you Spurs!

Yes I am.
Keeping up with football here in the states is tough though. Luckily I can get Capital Gold on my computer but for all the Euro games there are too many people online and I couldn't listen.
I wrote to their website and they claim they've fixed it.
So what do you think of all this Ginola fooferah???

Well I was on holiday for most of it, but as far as I can tell it's just GG playing a manager's game. He won't let anyone think that they're bigger than the team or guaranteed a place....
I wouldn't read any more into it than that - Gin only has a few years left and this might be the last chance to cash in. He won't go for any less than GG wants though - he's also sending Gin a message that the team is more important than any player - and we all know that Gin's biggest flaw is not always getting back when we lose the ball.
At the end of the day,. I want to see him finish his days at Spurs. But, we are building for the future and GG must already be looking for a player who can fill the left winger spot for the next five years or so. I'd miss him sorely if he's not there next season, but I am more hungry for trophies than one man's skills. If we're a better teanm without him, then so be it - but I'd like to see a replacement first!

I know what you mean. It's so heartbreaking. In the game I went and saw, Armstrong scored, but the ones he didn't take were increadible. They would get him set up, I'm not exaggerating, about 12 times and he never took the shot. He'd back off the ball like he was looking for someone else to take the shot. You're the STRIKER asshole!! STRIKE.
Then Ginola played a fabulous game that day, but watching him he really has an attitude...especially away. When he's on, he's gold...when he's not he gives up the ball at an allarming rate. I'm a new Spurs fan, only a year old, so I hope they move up the Premireship rather than down.

Don't worry about the direction we're heading in - we are one of the original big five clubs after all.
It's been a weird 10 years or so - after being saved from bankruptcy we were far too cautious with the finance explosion in football, hence our current mid-table status. But we've signed lots of quality in our youth ranks, some of whom are ready for the first team now.
And we've also brought in Thatcher (quality left back) and Sullivan (quality goalie) have come from the DOns, Rebrov (world-class - hopefully he'll match Klinsmann for end product) from Dinamo Kiev. All we need is a few more top internationals and we'll be challenging again within a couple of years.

Well, Gin's gone for £3 million, and seeing as we only paid 2.5 I'd say that's good business for someone in their thirties....
Few wobbles to start the season off, but we are so dependent on both Campbell and Anderton it isn't much of a surprise that we drop points if one of them's missing.
Hopefully Sol will return against derby today - and let's hope Korsten is finally fit to start on the left. And if not him, how about Simon Davies?
