It's just taken me a couple of weeks to realise!
No, seriously, I just thought I'd see who was around and what was going on here. I have very streamlined webtime these days and usually don't fit Hootoo in. Fortunately I still see many Hootoovians around other bits of the interweb.
Is there anything I should know?

Oo yes... lots been happening on here... err nope I've no idea either I was away most of december and until err about a week or so ago 
Plans for a spring/summer meet in London just went up today 
but asides that... nope can't think of much really

Yes... just hitch a lift on a passing spaceship 
the exact details, of the plan, cunningly termed 'no researcher left behind', are, as we write, being written to the exacting standards dictated by the intergalatic beurocracy corperation (formally Vogon view PLC, ergo origionally 'the vogons), by our very own Pastey... once he has both cunningly and tallently come up with a utterly badger-proof recipie, adn constructed it into a water-tight adn failsafe stratogry, he'll submitt it, in triplicit for approval... at which point... things will, in very many respects... beocme a lot clearer 
err... we're working on it I'll help you when the time comes... err if I'm here... knowing my luck it'll all happen as soon as I go off for a weekend or week away! 
But, they'll be plans in place to deal with such eventualities too; of people returning to the addres, here at the BBC, I guess* they'll be redirects in to the new url...

I'll let you know... when we all know... there will be... should be warning and time... but even if there isn't, our wizzo geeky man Pastey is coming up with some geeky solution that will get every last person o on to the new site or soemthign like that 
(I only pretend to understand what pastey talks about... it might as well be in ones and zeros as the really techy stuff goes over my head
