No decorations until Xmas Eve in my house

I don't think a week is too bad considering everyone else in the neighbourhood thought it was Christmas last month.

You've got to have some time to enjoy the twinkly lights!

We have nothing up at home except Christmas cards which I can stick up everywhere because the doors and walls are going to be changed! Our measly decorations box is somewhere among the piles of boxes unopened since the house move. And Spouse never buys me a now as we go to relatives' every year

How sensible.

But Christmas is a feast, and feasts aren't sensible.

We feast elsewhere, don't worry - just not in our own home.
