My details are on my userpage, which I have just constructed within the last few hours. You see, Im new too (one day old!). Hope to hear from you again.smiley - cool

There's probably not much more to tell. You've read my page. I completed my Bachelor of Science (Biological Sciences) degree in November (I think your school years are different, ours run from Jan-Nov), with a double major in Microbiology and Genetics, and I was fortunate enough to be offered one of 8 honours positions in the micro department. So that's what I'm doing now, my honours year in Microbiology. So now you've got more out of me, and you've still managed to say nothing about yourself! What are you studying when your nose isn't running?smiley - biggrin

All is forgiven, I've had a snotty nose before too. Actually, I didn't do science until I got to uni, so it was a very steep learning curve. I think the field you aspire to is very important, God knows there are a lot of ugly people out there! The reason I didn't see your message until now is because I logged off at 7:00am my time and got some sleep. Hope you're feeling better by the time you get this, as you will no doubt be in bed resting up right now. Just take it easy and get better. Starting your message with Crikey tells me you've been watching way too much Crocodile Hunter, Neighbours, or Home and Away! Hope to hear from you soon. You still haven't told me a single thing about yourself yet!smiley - smiley

Hiya Biomass smiley - smiley

I actually got crikey from Crocadile Dundee smiley - smiley for i don't watch Home and Away, i don't even watch Neighbours either.
Oh i use to do but not any more, for it isn't the same as it use to be from the older cast.
I am a lot better today thanks for asking, i took some beechams with a squeeze of lemon before i went to bed lastnight.
I guess that you will be tucked up in bed now yourself smiley - smiley

Well here is a little about me ok.
I am living in Liverpool England which i have all of life, i use to live with my parents but not any more.
I am an epeleptic but it's under control with drugs, i was 10 years old when they come on me after getting run over by a mini bus.
I like reading poems by Patience Strong, and i also like reading a bit of horroe not much though.
I hope that will do to put you on but i will tell you more soon i promise, i hope that its alright by you.

Well finally! That is a breakthrough, thanks for sharingsmiley - ok. Liverpool, eh, I suppose your sick of questions like, "Do you live near any of the houses that The Beatles grew up in?", so I will avoid all Beatle related enquiries! You look after Harry Kewell for us, we're going to need him for the World Cup in 2 years time. So glad to hear you a little better, it's a step in the right direction. Keep drip feeding me info, i'll look forward to it.smiley - ok

Hiya Biomass

To answer the question what you didn't want to know, well no i don't live anywhere near the Beatles smiley - biggrin>
Oh you are welcome for saying thank you to me by the way.
Who is Harry Kewell for i have never heard of him sorry to say?
If i keep drip feeding you info of me, will you do the same please?
I have just come in from doing my shopping, so i am completely shattered now for i put it away straight away.
I am still sneezing and coughing by the way, but if i keep taking the beechams i should be right as rain soon.
How are you yourself?

I am very well, thanks. Harry Kewell is Liverpool's (and Australia's) star striker, and I find it unbelievable that you have never heard of him. He's married to some sheila that's in an English soap opera that I've never heard of, but you probably have(Sherrie something,is it McMahon?)I will give you any information on me that you want, but you will have to ask because I don't know what there is to tell you.

Hiya Biomass

I am glad that you are well, and so am i now a little smiley - smiley
Nope i have never heard of him before, or the actress that is his wife.
Mind you i don't follow football at all, and i don't watch telly much either sorry to say.
I think the reason is because i am always studying, but sometimes when i do have the spare time i go ice skating or roller blading smiley - smiley
smiley - erm
Here you go here is a question for you, have you any sisters and brothers, and how old are they?
Well i will leave you with that for now ok,
Take Care.

1/ You REALLY don't follow football to have never heard of Harry Kewell.
2/ Don't be sorry that you don't watch much telly, I've given mine away until November, because if it is in the house I will watch it instead of studying.
3/ I have 2 sisters, but I can't help feeling that asking their age is just a subversive way of finding out mine smiley - biggrin. You can ask me anything, I've got nothing to hide. I'm ashamed to say that I'm now 39 smiley - ermsmiley - wah , and my sisters are 43 and 44.
4/ Ice skating is not so easy to do in Australia. I only know of on rink in my state (which I think has closed down now anyway), and I've only been ther about 3 times - the last of which was probably 23 years ago! I remember that ice is bloody hard when you're slapped to it at any sort of speed.
P.S. The bruising has now healed.smiley - cool

On question no 1. No i have never heard of him.
On question no 2. Thanks for understanding about me not watching telly, and there is no i could give my telly away.
On question no 3. I have 2 sisters aswell, oh i didn't ask for their ages to find out yours honest.
Well thank you anyway for your age, but i have to say though i don't think that you are old.
Anyway i have a brother Frank that is your age, and he is brilliant on skates you should see him go smiley - smiley
Oh right i see that is why you haven't been back since, not of the closing down but of hurting yourself.
Do you read books at all and what sort are they, i read a bit of horror and a bit of sci fi, even the odd romance (soppy) smiley - smiley
I put up on ask h2h2 for times where you live on my space, and i thought that would have been a good topic.
But i guess it wasn't a very good topic from the first respsonse i got, oh well i guess that
there are some people like that out there.
Oh by the way i feel tonnes better today which i am happy about, so i reckon i should be back at
Uni next week smiley - coolsmiley - smiley

I don't get the cahnce to read books because I never get around to reading the things that I'm supposed to for uni. All I get to read is scientific journal pieces, I'm sitting here surrounded by about 40 of them right now because I'm pulling my 3rd all nighter in a row to get an essay finished (it's due tomorrow) smiley - wah. We (the eight honours students in microbiology) all plan to get drunk tomrrow after handing this in, but not together, we all have plans - I'm off to a mates place where I wiil probably start having a few drinks, and then his kids (he's got five) will probably make me stay the night because they don't like me riding when I've had a drink - even just one. I think they just like to hear my stories so they have something to talk about for the next week at school. I also have 5 nephews and a niece, so when this essay is handed in I can spend the weekend with them, because I haven't seen very much of them over the last 3 weeks or so. I didn't really hurt myself ice skating, anyway injury has pretty much been a part of my life due to my love of sports, so it wouldn't have stopped me. Hope your well enough to go next week. By the way, how did your party go?

Oh dear you should study more so you can get where you want to be, because that is why i am always studying to get where i want to be.
I hope that you do well with your essay, i am meant to be doing an essay myself but i'm not smiley - smiley
I hope that you enjoy yourself at your mates, because i think that you deserve it after using your brain power smiley - biggrin
I have only got 2 nieces and 1 nephew, my nephew Kieran belongs to my brother, and my nieces are from both my sisters and one on the way smiley - smiley
Anyway i hope that you enjoy your stay with them, for i do when i go to see mine.
Yeah i guess that you are right about you hurting yourself with your sport, but i bet that you enjoyed it even with getting injuries.
Oh i do hope myself that i am well enough to go back to uni, because i am missing all my other friends that i have made that don't live with me. smiley - sadface
Oh i didn't have much of a party really, i went out to a club in Liverpool called Yates's.
The next day i went to my mum's and had a little tetea party there, all because the kids wanted to see me open my presents.
Oh i got asked out by this bloke in the club, so we swapped telephone numbers to get to know one another first.
His name is Simon the way smiley - smiley

I should study more? My last 4 nights have finshed a 7am, 8am,6am, and last night hasn't finished. It's 11:18am and I been up all night finishing this thing, which I did about 20 minutes ago. It has to be handed in by 5pm and it's an hour ride each way to uni to deliver it. Might have one drink with my mate, but I'm gonna have to come home and go to bed because I'm a wreck. That's cute that the kids wanted to see you open your presents. Just be a bit careful handing your phone number out to some guy you don't know, too late now, but next time tell him you'll ring him and get his number. I don't trust blokes that frequent clubs because I've seen too many dirtbags. I'm sure he'll be fine, I'm just a suspicious person because I'm a male and I know what the swines are like.smiley - biggrin

Oh my i see now that you do study a lot, well i do hope that i am right about that.
So did you go out with your mate, or did you go home to bed?
Yeah the kids can be brilliant you should have seen their faces when i was opening my pressies, their faces were a picture that i can tell you smiley - smiley
Oh don't worry about the bloke who gave me his phone number and i he, for i will be extra careful i promise you.
Anyway at least he doesn't know where i live.
Thank you for your concern that was very kind of you smiley - smiley

I went to my mates place for 10 minutes. I wasn't in a good mood bacause somone had stolen my backpack from uni yesterday. We have a witness who described him as a tall African bloke in his early 20's. The room he stole it from is supposed to be off limits to "normal" students, but try and tell that to a bloody thief. My life is never dull, some people describe it as exciting, but I say it's just one "incident" after another.
Have you met up with Simon yet? If I wasn't twelve and a half thousand miles away I'd check him out for you. Do you have any brothers to keep an eye out for you?
Love Michael.

Oh no that is terrible getting your ruck sack pinched, i hope that you got it back though.
I remember 2 years ago when my mum got her handbag pinched, and that was in a crowded street in Liverpool.
It really shook her up real bad, i had to take her home and got a doctor out for she was in a right state.
So you only stayed in your mates for 10 minutes, well at least you went and showed your face even after what had happened.
No i haven't met him yet for i am leaving him at arms length at the moment, but all we are doing is chatting on the phone to each other aswell as texting.
Awww thank you Mike that was a very nice thing to say, about you going to check him out for me smiley - smiley
Yes i have an older brother but i don't know where Simon lives, but if i did i would let Scott check him out.
Scott is always ringing me to see how i am, and he is is always saying don't study too hard
incase my brain caves in smiley - smiley
