h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Was the comment from the tutor on the Writers Bureau course? I only ask because I considered taking that course but felt that there were too many modules consisting of stuff that didn't interest me so I didn't do it.

How is the course?

I applaud your attitude on wishing to prove the tutor wrong. Keep it fixed in the front of your mind and keep going.

Hi Ange, yeah it is the Writer's Bureau. I don't want to do half of the assignments. I was saying to my friend the other day that it's made my writing like a chore. The course is good, however, in showing youthe markets but I think it is more for non fiction writers. Karjon (onthis site) has also done the course. I don't think she completed it though, she also had a nasty bitch of a tutor. I'll have to ask her if it was the same one. She didn't give constructive critism she said my article was 'Boring'

Well that's not very flippin constructive is it?

Jeez, I hate tutors like that. It reminds me of some of the harridans I had at school and makes my blood boil. Don't they realise they're there to encourage and stimulate not to just throw out stupid words that help no-one. Oh dear, I think I'm ranting now.

Anyway, keep it up girl and try not to let it stifle your writing. Have projects away from the course where you just let your writing flow without any thoughts of the technical content and style etc. Keep the fun
