Morning Jen
I think I must have just missed you last night. I never know if I'm logged on or not because don't log out of h2g2 but sometimes I close the programme down other time I don't!
It's still very windy and the rain has just stopped for now. How long is your hubby away? This heating business has put paid to out thoughts of having a couple of days away at the end of the week as I've no idea what kind of mess they will leave. The boiler is in the kitchen but the pump is under the floor!
At least Jeremy is back today or so I heard Kirsty Young say. I wonder what he'll play? Don't know whether to suggest "Message to Martha" and "Daddy Cool" as a joke!
Speak to you later

Hi Helen.
Hubby is only away until Wednesday, so I am keeping myself as busy as possible.
Just got in from badminton where my games were a total shambles. I left before noon as I thought I was going to have a hissy fit at one point !
Just going to Tesco and the bank this afternoon, my daughter is coming for tea and then going babysitting. I will probably go dancing.
Expect my mood will have improved by then !

Hi J
Did a message to you over Fly's page (I think) but got the dreaded error page, then unavailable so gave up! I thought this place was immune to the MB type gremlins.
We had beef yesterday and I've tasted better. I made a batch of Yorkshire's the other week so there were some left. I need to put 2 eggs in these days otherwise they don't rise.
Enjoy the dancing!

Hi Helen.
Yes, I think I picked up all messages, but not 100% sure.
BDG seems to be having fun with her page ! I wish her luck.
Yes I've had the dreaded error page, and the whole message thing has been so slow today. I wonder where Dalek is ? Did none of us ask about her ?
I completely missed the JV show today, and to be honest I thought he was still away for another week.
Long gone are the days when I did my own Yorkshires. The final humiliation came when the grand children told me they preferred Aunt Bessies.
A friend of mine is coming over for lunch tomorrow. We used to work together and have been friends for years. So far, I've bought the wine. We usually cheat like hell and buy Tesco or M&S ready meals. That way we can spend more time chatting and having a glass of wine.
Well, must get the chicken on for the next meal.

I know what you mean about the Yorkshires I had just about given up then remembered my friend in South Africa said that was the only thing she couldn't get right since she'd lived there. Something to do with the altitude in Johannesburg being around 6000ft. Those ready meals are so good it's hardly worth spending all day making them.
Yes I wondered about Dalek and noticed they didn't put the schedule on the home page either.
What do you think of the new Dr Who? I'd just read in the DM that Bill Nighy was going to be it when I heard on the radio that it was Christopher Ecclestone.
Just heard the Love Affair "Bringing On Back The Good Times" on JW. Memories of standing on chairs at the college dances at the Mayfair in Newcastle during my mis-spent youth!

Christopher certainly looks sinister enough to play the part. My favourites, because they were scary, were Patrick Troughton and William Hartnell.
My dad was the SF buff in our house, and he never missed an episode !
I am a little miffed having had 2 e mails from the mods telling me I was off topic on the 7 deadly sins.
Well, must go and do the dishes and get ready for dancing.

I just read your posts over on JV and wondered what's going on. What do they want us to talk about then? Things are not what they were! Dalek put in an apearance I see. I'm going to be really lazy tonight and just watch an old video.
Did you ever get round to downloading music from that WINMX site? I was having a look last night but couldn't think of anything that I wanted! I've not got a lot of space left on my hard drive so I'm a bit choosy. That's the next thing I need to do - upgrade the computer.
Oh I just thought of a song Billy Joel - Goodnight Saigon. Richard Allinson played it the other night. Must click on.
Don't dance too hard!!

Evening Helen.
No I never got round to downloading any music ! Takes me all my time to answer the e mails round here.
Two of my messages have definitely gone, so I am going to put them back up in the morning if I have the time.
The CB was good all day today, and there were some good conversations going around. Fly was in full swing ! She was so funny.
Back from dancing, and just waiting for my daughter to return as she is staying here tonight after her baby sitting stint.
Yes, dancing was fast and furious. A really good work out - apart from the Will Young song and some other waltzy type thing.
